I hope you all are enjoying this mild winter. Hopefully, Mother Nature doesn’t pay us back in February & March and we’ll be ready to go as scheduled. We have high school games tentatively scheduled as early as Friday, March 31st.

Below is our meeting schedule for the 2017 season. All meetings will be held at the Auburn Elks on 754 Southbridge Street in Auburn beginning at 7:00PM unless otherwise noted:

Monday, March 6th
• New Member Installation
• NEBC Update & WABUA’s role at the NEBC
• MIAA Protocols

Sunday, March 19th – 10:00AM at Holy Name High School
• Big Diamond Two-Man Mechanics
• All-Sports East from Enfield, CT will be present and available to accommodate your equipment and apparel needs

Monday, March 27th
• MBUA Exam Review
• HS/NEBC final overview

Monday, April 24th
• Summer Baseball
• HS updates
• Nominations for officers

Monday, May 15th (ANNUAL MEETING)
• HS “Home Stretch”
• Knotty Problems
• HS Playoffs
• Election of Officers

Tuesday, May 30th (Tentative) – WABUA BANQUET – Cocktails at 6:00PM; Dinner at 7:00PM

Your attendance at any THREE of these meetings will satisfy your membership requirement (banquet not included). Also, your 2018 dues of $50 are payable at the May 15th meeting. If you have a valid reason for not satisfying your membership requirements, you MUST notify either me at richgaitane@yahoo.com or Steve Vantre Sr. at papafred0621@aol.com. THIS IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY!

Finally, I am working with Rob Healey at the NEBC regarding some one-night clinics during the last week of March that our membership will have the opportunity to attend. Also, the NEBC will be holding a 12U tournament the weekend of April 1st and 2nd. You will have the opportunity to work games, get paid, and get observed.
