At its August 7 meeting, the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) Board of Directors voted to adopt NFHS rules for baseball for the 2019-20 school year. The approval followed a recommendation by the MIAA Tournament Management Committee to use NFHS rules in all eligible sports and eliminate inconsistencies.
Please keep in mind this NOT for next season but the 2020. As we get closer to that time the Executive Committee will work with the MBUA and our Interpreter for best practice to make sure we are ready for the changes in the rules.
